Bandhavgarh is a National Park and Tiger Reserve, in the last few years this former game reserve has become one of India's most prominent National Parks. People visit this city to see these three prime attractions. Bandhavgarh fort has medieval historic importance as it is believed that Lord Rama had stayed here and this fort was built by Lord Rama for his brother, Lord Lakshmana.

Bandhavgarh National park also attracts lots of tourists. The Rewas dynasty ruled over this city and turned the fort of Bandhavgarh into their abode. After Rewas, this city has seen the rule of Chandels, Mughals and Lodhis.

The city is situated amidst mountains with Son River and Johilla River flowing right through the city and the Umrar River flows on the western sides of the city making this place beautiful and serene for tourists. This city offers a plethora of such interesting things hence it’s a prime tourist destination for people. Bandhavgarh is set amidst hills which make the weather here cool and breezy.
